Script Coordinator.

Obsessed with Final Draft (so you don’t have to be!)

As a professional screenwriter and script supervisor, Script Coordinating seemed like a natural place for my Final Draft software expertise. I first entered the script department as a Screen Queensland attachment on Nickelodeon TV series Rock Island Mysteries, where I was trained in draft management, generating reports, assisting script editors/producers, and distributing revisions.

Your script department’s secret weapon.

I stepped up into the full-time Script Coordinator role on the thriller feature film Dangerous Animals (dir. Sean Byrne) where I managed frequent coloured revisions, script distribution, logic questions and formatting. I bring a detail-oriented, calm-under-pressure approach, with a firm understanding of how revisions can affect all departments (from my time as a script supervisor), giving me a holistic appreciation for the job. And as a screenwriter who spends more time obsessing over formatting, grammar and logic than actually writing - this job is perfectly suited to my personality and interests!

  • Not only is Harry a superb Director’s Assistant, he also became my script coordinator. His skill set is diverse, his demeanour calm and supportive. I can’t recommend Harry highly enough.

    -Sean Byrne, Director (Dangerous Animals)

  • Harry’s attention to detail is extraordinary. His ability to add value in pressure situations on set was greatly valued. His manner and approach to script supervision undoubtedly helped create a better film. Working with Harry was like having a constant ‘phone a friend’ on tap.

    -Ryan Coonan, Director (The Red)
